Chris Blue, Co-Lead Pastor, Pacific Point Church

Once upon a time, an LA Laker Girl fell in love with an NHL goalie, and that was just the beginning. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Chris was in the dance and film industry for a long time and now lives with her husband, John, and their five children in Costa Mesa, CA, where they lead Pacific Point Church. They’ve spent the last 24 years of ministry on the frontlines of church planting and are revival-ready! With toddlers and teens under the same roof, there is plenty of wild & wonderful to write about, and Chris shares their crazy adventures daily @chris_blue. A passionate believer in things being altogether lovely, the Blue Crew mantra is “love hard & fight hard,” and their story tells of the sweetest growth coming from the most difficult moments. When she’s not leading Bible studies or speaking at women’s events, she can be found cleaning house or running carpool, in a hip hop class, at the beach or vintage shopping. In this Covid season, she is still constantly cooking & cleaning, or hiding out in her room from the 8 people living in her house!

Rasha Gardner, Licensed Professional Counselor

Rasha is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about serving as a refuge to those in need. Being no stranger to trauma herself, she knew at a very early age that one of her life goals would be to become a therapist and help those around her. She has been in the mental health field for 10+ years and has served in a variety of different roles. Rasha is currently licensed in the state of Arizona and has pending licensure in the state of Missouri.

In 2016, Rasha’s life was turned upside down when her beloved older sister was killed in a domestic violence incident. Rasha, not only enduring the loss of her older sister was now the guardian of her two sweet nieces whose lives would also never be the same. Despite the significant trauma that Rasha and her two nieces have undergone, they continue to thrive and resiliency shines through them. Rasha is determined to not only create a life for herself and her sister’s two children that means something, but one that carries on the name of her sister. That is when Rasha and her sister’s best friend, Cristi, decided Lissa’s Legacy was meant to be born.

Outside of Rasha’s desire to save to world one person at a time, she is also a wife to her amazing husband, adopted “mom” to her two nieces, and is expecting her first child in January! Rasha and her family recently relocated from Arizona to Missouri where they are creating their little homestead farm. Chickens, pigs, and all!

Shirley Lindsay, Christian Speaker & 34-Year Military Wife

Shirley’s license plate reads: PROV 31; an impossible task to achieve without Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. To experience true peace and fulfillment as a woman who “fears the Lord”, it requires obedience and discipline in our life in Christ.

Shirley’s passion is to encourage and minister to women in their journey—be it marriage, parenting, grief, relationships, or spiritual. She responds to God’s call to minister to women through teaching, speaking, writing, counseling, leading retreats and sharing her faith in Jesus Christ. Her life experiences and people-oriented personality allows her to touch the hearts of listeners with inspiration, laughter, and hope.

Shirley is a CLASS and UPPER CLASS (Christian Leaders, Authors, and Speakers Services) graduate, Certified Personality Trainer and contributing author to Florence and Marita Littauer’s book, Getting Along With Almost Anybody. She’s spoken at a variety of venues, which includes Christian Women’s Clubs, military events, including both military couples and wives conferences and retreats, MOPS [Mothers of Preschoolers], and as a Megachurch events keynote speaker. She graduated with a Master’s in Counseling Ministry and Chaplaincy from Denver Seminary in 2008, receiving both the Mentor of the Year and Chaplain of the Year awards. She also spent several years as an educator and facilitator for Alzheimer’s Orange County (formerly Orange County Alzheimer’s Association).

Shirley spent 34 years as a USAF wife traveling the world, while raising 4 children. After her husband, (a retired USAF major general) lost his 15-year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, she moved back to the greater Denver area. She loves traveling to visit her 4 children and 6 grandchildren, and has a grandson in heaven.
