Bethany’s Gait is supported almost entirely by private donations.
We receive no government funding to assist the heroes, their family members, and the horses that we serve. We have chosen to never turn any person away for inability to pay and have found that’s the case with many of the heroes who visit the ranch. We are very frugal in our operations yet still have costs at about $12,000 per month.

Bethany’s Gait is run almost entirely by volunteers. We need help in a variety of areas including administrative tasks, fundraising, ranch maintenance, horse care, and working with clients. We accept volunteers 16 and older; younger candidates must volunteer with a parent or guardian.
